Problem
Managing a local pharmacy store traditionally requires tracking hundreds of medicines, managing expiration dates, and handling daily sales manually. This process was prone to calculation errors and significantly slowed down customer checkout times during peak hours.
Solution
I designed a complete local pharmacy inventory and camera-based barcode scanner management system named AfexsaRx. The application allows staff to instantly scan products using the built-in scanner, generate automated invoices, and manage customer and supplier details from a single interface."
Technology
This cross-platform mobile application was engineered using Flutter, utilizing Supabase for cloud configuration and a dedicated local database to ensure the app functions seamlessly even without internet access.
Development
The development process was centered around high-speed retail operations. I implemented a clean architecture using the BLoC state management pattern across distinct modules like POS, stock movements, and expense tracking. The camera-based barcode scanner was heavily optimized for instant product recognition, and I integrated a PDF service for generating professional, on-the-spot receipts.
